Below is an overview of the topics we will be covering each term.

HOME LEARNING

Spellings - starting in Term 2

Spelling books will need to come into school on a Monday and a Friday.

Monday - new spellings stuck in for the week.

Friday - spelling quiz at school.

Please use the front of the spelling book to practise at home. We will use the back of the book in school.

Reading

Please aim for your child to read at least 4 times a week. Please record when they have read in their reading record (a date and tick is fine).

Your child will need to bring their reading book and reading record into school EVERYDAY. Reading books will be changed every Monday. Please encourage your child to read their school reading book multiple times to develop fluency.

Maths

Please access Doodle Maths at least 4 times a week. 

Your child can log on and access the daily challenges or complete assignments set by the class teacher.
