Zog Class Staff

Mrs Rogers teaches Zog Class on Monday - Thursday Mrs Cornelius teaches Zog class on Fridays. Mrs Heeley and Mrs Plenty are the teaching assistants in Zog class. There is one teaching assistant per day. Miss George is another adult who works in Zog Class. 

PE days

Zog class have PE on Mondays and Fridays. They will need to come to school in their PE kit on these days and will stay in it all day.

Phonics

We deliver phonics through the DfE approved scheme Little Wandle https://www.littlewandlelettersandsounds.org.uk

Home learning 

Your child will bring home a reading book matched to their phonic knowledge. Please practise reading together at least five times per week. 

Your child will also bring home a 'real book' for you to enjoy with your child. Our 'Reading Scheme' books are designed to help children practise their sounds they learn in school, but 'real books' are sent home to encourage a love for reading! Children are not expected to read these books independently.

If you would like to speak to one of the team you can pass on information at the door at the start and end of the day.
